What Personal Data We Collect
We only collect what's needed to run the store and communicate with you:
- Order details: name, email address, delivery address, and phone number, collected during checkout to fulfil and deliver your order.
- Where your order started: When you place an order, we record which page of our site you started checkout from and, if you arrived through one of our adverts, the campaign details contained in the link you clicked (for example the campaign name). We use this only to understand which of our pages and adverts lead to orders. It is stored with your order record, not in a cookie on your device.
- Payment information: we never see or store your card details. Payments are handled entirely by Stripe, our payment processor — see Stripe's own privacy policy.
- Newsletter and restock signups: your email address, if you subscribe to our newsletter or ask to be notified when a product is back in stock.
- Contact form messages: your name, email address, and message, if you get in touch via our Contact page.
How We Use Your Data
- To process and deliver your order, and to manage any Subscribe & Save subscription.
- To send order confirmations and, where relevant, subscription-related emails.
- To send you our newsletter, only if you've subscribed to it.
- To respond to questions you send us via the Contact page or by email.
- To prevent fraud and keep our store secure.
We do not sell your personal data to any third party.
Who We Share Your Data With
We use a small number of trusted service providers to run the store, each only for the purpose named:
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Brevo — sending order-related and, where you've opted in, marketing emails.
- Supabase — secure hosting of our order/customer database.
- Royal Mail — your name, delivery address, and phone number, to create and deliver your shipment.
- Meta (Facebook/Instagram) — only if you accept the optional advertising cookie described below, a securely hashed (not plain-text) version of your email address, used to measure and improve our advertising.
These providers may process data outside the UK/EEA as part of their own infrastructure; where that happens, they do so under their own published data-protection safeguards.
Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to run the site: our admin dashboard's login session (internal team only, never set for ordinary visitors), and a small cookie that simply remembers your cookie preference itself once you've made a choice below.
We also use one optional advertising cookie, the Meta Pixel, which helps us understand how people find Red Gold Reserve and measure our advertising on Facebook and Instagram. It is never set until you actively accept it via the cookie banner shown on your first visit, and declining it does not affect your ability to browse or buy anything. You can change your choice at any time by clearing your cookies and revisiting the site. We do not currently use any analytics (e.g. Google Analytics) cookies.
How Long We Keep Your Data
We keep order records for as long as necessary to meet our legal and accounting obligations, and newsletter/contact data until you ask us to remove it or unsubscribe.
Your Rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Ask us to delete your data, where we're not required to keep it.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format.
- Complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you believe we've mishandled your data.

Children
Our products and website are not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
